Shaw Scholarship
John and Libby Shaw, to honor the memories of John’s parents, John and Betty Shaw, created the Betty C. Shaw Educational Scholarship Fund. Betty Shaw carried her convictions regarding the needs of family and education second only to her faith in God.
Applicants must:
Be a current graduating senior
Have been a member of Dutilh for at least one year
Plan to attend any accredited vocational school, trade school, college, or university

ANDERSON SCHOLARSHIP
Mary Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by Carl and Linnea Strutz to honor Linneas’s mother. Mary was a school teacher and Sunday School teacher dedicated to helping those in their quest for higher education.
Applicants must:
Be a member of Dutilh Church
Be accepted for enrollment or attending a university, college, community college, vocational or technical school and consideration will be given for academic achievement, school and/or community service, extracurricular activities and character.
Preferably, be a graduate of Mars Area School District.

POLNISCH SCHOLARSHIP
Paula and Bill Shepherd established the Richard J. Polnisch Memorial Scholarship Fund in late 2002 in memory of Paula’s father, Richard J. Polnisch. Paula stated about her father, “My Dad was a man of strong Christian faith and deep trust. He believed in tithing and self-giving. In his generosity he wanted us to set aside a portion of his life to reach others with Christ’s love.”
Applicants must:
Be a full-time student
Be a member of Dutilh for at least one year
Plan to pursue post-high school education at an accredited Christian college, university, professional school, or seminary, or be preparing for a career in Christian service or hospice care

ALEXANDER SCHOLARSHIP
Janis Alexander’s family created the Alexander Family Scholarship to honor her memory. Her husband, Jim, and sons, Matt and Scott, are humbled to offer the scholarship as an instrument to aid anyone pursuing higher education. Because Janis Alexander had great respect for healthcare professionals, preference will be given to anyone seeking education in the medical field.
Applicants must:
Be a member of Dutilh for at least one year
Plan to pursue post-high school education and preferential consideration will be given to candidates studying in a medical field.

CLARK EDWARDS SCHOLARSHIP
Clark Edwards was a man who dedicated his life to teaching, both spiritually and conventionally, and used technology to tie the two together. Clark Edwards was responsible for Dutilh Church being the first in the area to use multimedia presentations during Sunday worship.
Applicants must:
Be a graduating high school senior
Be attending a college or university in the fall
