Class of 2028 Leadership Board Nominees

Mitch Lenhard has been attending Dutilh with his wife Tami since 2016.  Tami and Mitch moved to the area from Erie, PA with their daughters Brooke and Chelsea when they were two.  Early on the family visited Dutilh for Sunday Service and loved how everybody was so nice and welcoming!

A few years later Mitch and Tami enrolled their daughters at Dutilh Preschool.  They felt they had caught their breath after those early childhood years and knew they had found a home to grow their faith. They became members last year and are so thankful for their Dutilh Church family.

Mitch credits his wife, Tami, and his parents for fostering a strong sense of service into his life, which he continues to incorporate into his professional and personal life.

Mitch graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Finance and started his career as a Financial Analyst.  Over time he moved to Supply Chain roles where he’s been fortunate to have had the opportunity to help businesses grow.  Mitch also served as a Treasurer of Men’s Fraternity in college, United Way Big Brother, and on the Board of the Northwest Pennsylvania United Way Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization.

Originally from Chicago, Ben Murray and his family moved to Cranberry Township in 2004. His parents Ann and John, and sister, Laura, started attending Dutilh shortly after.

Ben was confirmed in the church by Pastor Don Scandrol and has attended the church ever since. Once he settled back in the area after college and graduate school in 2019, he began to be more involved with the church. In addition to attending on Sunday mornings, he became more involved in the men's ministry and served on the Staff Parish relations committee. Through men’s retreats and small groups.

He graduated from Seneca Valley High School and continued his education at Allegheny College where he was a member of the baseball team. He later married his wife Kayla and they purchased their first home together in Zelienople. The couple is expecting their first baby in the coming months.

Ben works as a financial advisor for Edward Jones, and his wife serves others through her work as a physician assistant in the Butler Health system. In their free time Ben and Kayla enjoy walks with their black lab, Lincoln, spending time with their friends and family, and Ben enjoys playing baseball/softball in the summer.

Kristy Harrison was raised and confirmed in nearby St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.  She married her husband, Jeff, in 1998.  Together, they chose Dutilh as their new family church in 2000, when she was pregnant with their daughter, Jenna.  In 2007, son Alex completed their family.  Both children have been very involved in Dutilh’s ministries for their entire lives.  Professionally, Kristy has taught grades 4 and 5 for over 30 years.

At Dutilh, Kristy has participated and served in many capacities over the last 20+ years.  She is currently a member of the J-Walkers small group and Children’s Ministry Team, as well as a confirmation mentor.  Her favorite service opportunities are teaching Kingdom Kidz, leading the FISH kids, organizing and running Vacation Bible School games, and especially chaperoning the yearly FISH/DSM trips to Camp Jumonville.

Kristy is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside current Leadership Board members, whom she greatly respects.  As a new member, she is eager to do her best to further the ministries of her home church and her beloved church family.
