Stewardship Giving Guide

  • We invite you to to celebrate the joy of Dutilh’s ministry as you offer your commitment card for 2025. Through our offerings, we invest in God’s mission and share the love of Christ with our community and world. Our gifts to God are an act of worship; and our offerings are necessary for our church to change lives, transform our community, and renew our church.

  • The Bible teaches that everything belongs to God and is a gift from God. Jesus taught about the importance of generosity and sacrifice, and how God will hold us accountable for what we do with our earthly possessions. Giving is an act of worship, in which we honor God by putting Him first.

  • The Bible teaches the spiritual discipline of tithing, giving the first 10 percent of what we earn to God’s work through the church. For some, giving 10 percent is a very difficult goal. For others, it is a starting point, and they are able to give more. The important thing is to start somewhere, with the idea that your giving be in proportion to your income, that your giving reflects an appropriate offering to God given your means, and that your offerings reflect your desire to serve the Lord by investing in the Lord’s work. If you are not yet tithing, consider taking a step in that direction this year. For example, if you currently give three percent, consider increasing your gift by one percent to four percent.

  • We know that every dollar placed in our offering plate is a gift to the Lord, and we use 100 percent of your gifts to advance the church’s mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love others, and love to serve. Your offerings fuel the church’s ministry and we rely on the offering of the Dutilh family to operate our ministry.

  • While you can always give to the church without doing so, completing a commitment card is encouraged for two reasons. First, it empowers you to be intentional and prayerful about your offerings to the Lord. Second, it allows our church leaders the opportunity to be wise in preparing an accurate ministry budget.

  • We completely understand and we want you to know that you are loved and you matter to God and to our church family. Please be sure to let one of our pastors know if there is any way we can pray for you or assist you through financial hardship.

There are a variety of ways to Give to Dutilh Church

  • Place a check or cash in the offering plate during weekly worship.

  • Give online through the Church Center App, which works with ACH bank transfer, Apple Pay, debit, or credit card.

  • Set up a recurring monthly gift using  Electronic Funds Transfer (see info on the backside of the commitment card).

  • Give using your bank’s online banking system.
